I've always been passionate about the arts, from musical performances, writing, to painting. Painting especially is a peaceful activity for me. Even though it can be tricky, I think that's what I like about it; having the ability to surmount a problem again and again.

Mostly I'm self-taught, however my dad, who is an amazingly talented artist in his own right, has been a great mentor and motivation to me throughout the years. People say to paint what you love, and that's what I strive to do. I'm fond of people and animals, as well as all geeky stuff. I'd describe my artwork as intense and vivid, while still giving respect to the subject.

One thing I always tell my daughter is that she doesn't have to be perfect - to turn those mistakes into “Happy Accidents,” and that is what I try to do in my work.
